92 Points - Neal Martin - the Wine Advocate: "When I tasted the 2014 Saint-Bris Exogyra Virgula last year, I must admit that I did not quite "get" this wine. Returning after 12 months, either I have become accustomed to what is an arresting wine, or the wine has improved. Maybe a bit of both? It has a wonderful, captivating bouquet with Japanese yuzu, wet wool, watermelon and nettle aromas that are extremely well defined and to be honest, different from almost every other white wine I have tried. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, very fresh with green apple and kiwi fruit, leading to a very focused and tensile, almost steely finish. Okay, I get this now. You just have to prepare yourself for this sui generis."
